    For anyone who has SS-P's or just any coilover actually, if you dirve it in snow, how bad does the salt treatt the coilover and the threads on it. or is it rust protected??

    wow!!! yup salt would rust that if you're not carefull. i'd say for now, just go back to stock if you're running coils just until the weather gets better. just to be sure..

    my plan is just 2 keep the car as clean as possible during the winter months. Even just a daily sprinkle of water to get a majority of the salt off wont hurt i dont believe. This will be my first winter w/ coilovers so I hope for the best. But then again I got a 06 Murano I can drive when the roads are icky since my wife only works 2 days a week :P

    yeah. unless you constantly rinse it after going thourhg some snow, you'll be fine. other than that good luck

    i heard the teins have a new rust preventive coating that they didn't use in the past.

    but nonetheless, try to keep them clean.

    and it wouldn't hurt if you put some grease on them

    well, I cant go back to stock cuz we had to hack the old strut to get it off. so I'm just going to clean them everytime it gets bad.

    Pinoy, do you mean aplly grease on the thread?

    you could also spray with wd-40 to prevent rust and corrosion
