Yea.. Tires are just SLIGHTLY too big...... If i were u i would go with a 225 series MAX... I have 215/35/18 on my 7g and MAN is there a HUUUUUUGE difference in handling alone with just tires and no suspension work... 225 would be a slightly wider tire but as for rubbing issues i have not a clue...... 43 mm offset might stick out from the tire well a little bit (not really noticeable) but i have a 7g i dont know how much of a difference there is for a 8g.

if you get 225/45zr17 tires it will b perfect w/ no issues and can take up to a 3 inch drop w/ no rubbing. 245 is too wide.

Yeah 245s are too wide on a 17X7.5 you could probably do a 235 if you can find them. I'm running 225/50s on the stock rims and they fit well, the rim is a bit skinny to get the maximum performance out of the tire but thats ok.

yeah 245 might be too wide on 7.5. 205 might be the key #.. but the wheels are perfect!!

ok then,I would change to 225/45/17. Does anyone know the brand Yokohama? I'm thinking to get YK520.
    Is it good or bad?

depends on what you're looking to do with them... isit for performance, or do you want them to last a while?

Is there a main difference on 225/45/17 tire and 225/50/17 tire?
I wan to get last longer.

The difference between a 225/45 and a 225/40 is the thickness of the sidewall. Although not to big of a difference. Also tire size does not make a difference on how long they last, it's how you drive your car. One more thing, when you get new tires be sure to have your alignment checked before going any futher. If the Camber/Caster/Toe is out then you'll be going through tires like crazy. That just my .02 cents.

But I found 225/45 that only have a speed rate H and 225/50 have a speed rate V.
Someone told me the speed rate V is much better and safer than H.
    Should I get 225/50 instead of 225/45?

A "V" rated tire are usefull for speeds up to 120mph. If you drive 100mph constantly then go for it, but anything under "v" rated tire are pretty much the same.

H rated are the lowest they reccomend for the galant, so anything over that would be fine. Also the rating system on the tire goes like this, you have a 225/45/17. The first number is the width of the tire in mm so its 225mm wide at the section width, next is the aspect ratio, the sidewall is 45% the width of the tire, so the sidewall on a 225/45 will be 101.25 mm tall. Now as to what the difference is between the two tires you mentioned, as I figured for you above a 225/45/17 will have a sidewall thats 101.25 mm tall now a 225/50/17 will have a sidewall thats 112.5 mm tall. So given that the sidewall is measured twice in the overall diameter of the tire the 225/50/17 will be 22.75 mm taller than the 225/45/17. If you want longer lasting tires look at the treadware rating which should be in the 200-600 range for most passenger tires, the higher the number the longer lasting the tire, but the harder the compound and therefore less grip the tire will provide.
