i found a 63mm throttle body on ebay for a 4g63 motor from 1990-1994. i recently took the throttle body out of a 94 eclipse at a junk yard and its the exact same throttle body. will the throttle bodies differ from DOHC to SOHC? i figured id ask b4 i buy it...

1g T/E/L DOHC equipped 4G63's pretty much have the same throttle body's...for the exception that the N/A throttle body has a neck. The turbo TB doesn't...it has a bolt on neck. They both stock are 60mm..but they can be bored out to 63mm. I switched to a N/A throttle body on my GVR4 when I redid the intercooler piping. I sent out my N/A TB to get the throttle plate seals replaced and bored out to 63mm.

I don't think the TB's in the SOHC motors in the 1g's will work. They have a completely different intake manifold and the throttle bore is smaller than the DOHC 4G63 turbo and N/A motors.
