    Trunk Garnish (Update...finished pic)

So yeah, just installed my carbon trunk...fits good! But now i face the issue with the garnsih. I know some of you on here told me to get the 05 Civic Coupe garnish. So i just got it in, but what do i gotta do to make it fit good? Also, i notice now when i open my trunk, it flys up really fast...its kinda scary actually. Is there something i can remove so that the trunk won't fly up so fast?

you can remove the torsion bars and the trunk won't fly open. but note that you'll be lifting the weight of the trunk. not that bad with a cf trunk but if u ever go back to the factory trunk, you should also put back the torsion bars.

also note that the torsion bars also help to keep the trunk open

i just drilled 3 holes into the trunk. Then i attached the garnish with nuts and washers on the inside of the trunk. It doesn't sit perfectly flush, but i guess it will do for now :? I also had to cut out some of the inside of the garnish in order to make space for my 2 license plate lights.
