High Output alternators that is!!..LOL!! I found this company that says they carry an alternator for 1999 and also the 2000+ Galants, since y'all know that the 99 model was the bastard child for the Mitsu family. They are listing on their ebay site for $225 pluse $20 s/h and come with a one year warranty. I might order one just to see what it does and see what kinda amps it kicks out. I contacted them at they say it's a bolt-on replacement. They claim to have been in biz for 15 years, they have a 100% rating on ebay with 395 transactions. Who's up to try this besides me? If you do, make sure to get a birth sheet with it's specs. Anyway, heres the link to their site:

Interesting... if you order it let us know. I would pick one up, but I would like to see how it performs and what kind of output it has first. Good find none the less.
