    nothin big, but the diameter....

This is the beginning of the 3" headers-back exhaust. Magnaflow 3" high-flow cat. It will all be put together by end of next weekend. I still have to get on EBAY and order the universal 3" N1 style muffler for $58. I know for you power freaks it's not going to gain any power, I'll lose power at least until 4500rpm or so. The car is slow as balls, its just going to sound mean.

On a side note: those that followed in galantforums, my tranny went out and had to deal with the dealership. I got word today and it is done! I pick it up tomorrow and pay $250. $100 deductible and $150 to flush the lines out. Don't know how that is $150, but I'll get my car back and I'll have to fix the front bumper the tow truck fucked up.

now if you have a turbo setup I would understand the 3" exhaust but w/e floats your boat.. nice stuff by the way

nice... is the place you live it strict when it comes to emmision?? if not then why do you need a cat for??

The cat will keep the raspiness down. I had a custom 2.5" done and it is deep and badass. i wouldn't have gone any bigger unless you were going turbo/blower. to each his own I suppose but really doesn't make much sense.

yeah def don't run no cat................ even if the area isn't harsh on emisions i did my 5 speedswap and put on a long tube header w/ no cat and ran it straight into my megan racing cat back....... and i'm probably gonna go nad put the exhaudt manifold back on tilli can find a header that will pass emisiions and has a cat option w/ it and won't throw a ses code......

no cat = car sounding like a diesel
jdm front end conversion in the process.........

I dont have a cat or a muffler, but I have a turbo so it sounds different. I just have a resonator and 3" turbo back, cut off at the rear axle :P

If I ever had to get snspected I wouldnt pass though haha.
