    Need help finding a shift light

    Hey guys, someone, somewhen was selling a shift light that simply plugged into the cig.lighter. It was something like $40-60 and had 4 leds on it. Anyone got a clue??

    There are lots of different shift lights. Most attach to an aftermarket tachometer and the light comes on where you pre-set it. There are stand alone lights now that have a dial on the back of what rpm you want it to come on. If you just plugged it into the cigarette lighter, that would give you power, but nothing else. It has to interact with a tach to determine when to turn on.

    not this one. someone was selling one here that actually read the pulses in the powerlines. It had 4 leds on it, real small

    Not to sound like an ass, but how the hell would that work? How would your 12V lighter tell what rpm you are at. I would love to see this honestly.
