    Is My Trany Goin Already?

hey guess yesterday was one of the coldest days with my galant. I changed my oil... was trying to wire my system and now my check egine light came on... its not due to the system caz i ripped all the wires out. So i took the pos. off the battery and reset. In The mists of trying this my car is struggling between gears... if i'm stopped at a stop sign and hit the gas its struggles in first then pulls off. I never got my trany fluid changed do you guys think its that. Right now i got 58k on my car so idk what to do?

"I never got my trany fluid changed"

so its a cheap solution if it works.

you could get the code scanned and it will tell you why it has a check engine light.

    thats where i'd start

and when thats all done and fixed, i agree you should go ahead and change the tranny fluid. if you keep your tranny fluid happy, your tranny will last a long time.

i change mine at 30k or whenever the tranny doesn't feel happy. whichever comes first.

your not supposed to disconnect the possitive the negative should be taken of to reset the battery

it doesn't matter which you take off. positive or negative. but most choose the negative since the negative grounds the whole chassis.

    thats good

pinoy thats what i have always heard when installing a battery and it even comes on the directions, there is a chance that if you connect the positive last with the battery it can change the cycle and not charge, i would rather play it safe then have to keep getting new batteries if it happened
