Is this a good replacement for stock fogs?

Probably not but you won't know until you get down there and pull them out. Optik is not exaclty PIAA. Whats the light output on those? :?

those will phyisically fit in there. which would be your biggest issue with aftermarket fogs.

as for having them mount to your stock brackets, the mounts on them look similar to the ones on the 2500 angel eyes which everyone has so u may be able to rig it up somehow.

It was not direct fit, I went and bought some parts to modify it, but Its so bright!

yup, i have these on the black G... they are bright as hell, but the beam pattern leaves something to be desired... it's just a medium sized circle... unlike the stock fogs that light up the whole underside of the road... these focus on one spot... but that one spot is friggin bright as hell... almost remind ya of HIDs
