Find what makes you happy that fits your vehicle properly.

At stock ride height a 17x8" with a +35mm offset fits without rubbing. Its just like a EVO 8 wheel that several members have already. However if you have lowered, or plan to lower the vehicle it WILL rub, you WILL need to roll the fenders, possible a good bit, but members like ChicagoGTZ (or those who have EVO wheels would be your best sounding board.

huh? i never said to get wheels and tires seperately. i said you have to get the right size of both for it to fit well. fine don't listen to me, listen to somebody that has done it (since i only have 19"x8.5"):

if you meant i make it sound like it is easier to get the right sizes new rather than used, then u are right. i bought my wheels and tires new so i could get the exact right sizes for my application without hoping that somebody was selling exactly what i wanted used.

yup. that's why i bought mine new... actually the wheels i got were a brand new design so would have been waiting a LONG time to get them used.

ok well the wheels are up for sale again.
So here's the question. He will let me test-fit them. If i will see that they will stick out to the point where no matter if i roll the fenders or not they will hit it, then obviously i should get it. But if i see that rolling fenders will help - is it worth getting?
Alsom if fender rolling hard/damages the car, so on ?

ROLL THE DAMN FENDERS AND GET THE DAMN RIMS
    and shutup

if you don't roll, you probably will. if you do roll, you lessen the chances that you do rub.

its a fender roller. its like $250
    click click

or if you want, you can rent one. try locally and if that doesn't work
    click click

but yea, if you're just gonna do your car, might as well pay someone to do it. it doesn't cost that much, and if they screw up, you have a finger to point at.

get an aluminum bat and roll it over between the fender and wheel... thats what my hommie did... u rolled the car foward in drive very slowly and folded it little by little... took about 15 mins for all 4 tires... Dont rush the fold all at once, just ease it in lil by lil
    uhhhh...... Whats a 9g???
