RPW Header Update - FInal Information

Just a note saying that we have completed the research and development into the Mitsubishi V6 extractor systems and am beginnign production now.

Last two cars checke had perfect fitments with no clearance issues etc and O2 sensors have all been sortd out.

Anyone interested in purchasing contact Vision Imports for prices.

Expected ETA on the sytem is mid January for the first batch.

Mid January????

After all the fitment issues...that sure is a long time. I was hoping to get them by the 2nd week of Dec. Is that when the first batch is shipping out or for the people who placed orders way back in April and paid for them, will we get ours sooner?

Dunno but I know I was one of the first to jump on it and Vision assured me that I wouldn't get left behind just because the groupbuy took place and I wasn't in it.

All I know is that when Chip put his on, 3 weeks later I had mine sitting in my living room. I returned them to Vision after the measurement mistakes were found. And I have been waiting ever since.

The problem is because of xmas time the freight companies are very busy and we are having trouble getting the goods delivered in a short time.

The header systems will be packaged and ready to deliver within the next three weeks but because of xmas we may not be able to get them into Vision before christmas and I don't want to say that they will and then find out that they can't be there by then.

So what I am saying is that they will definitly be there around the 15th January and may be there sooner but we are having this problem with all our headers going to the USA at this moment.

It may not be as big a problem as we think but I am trying to be honest with everyone about the freight situation.

Also remember that we can ship individually via our postal system but they are starting to get overloaded with xmas presents now and they are advising they may have problems with delivery times. We can ship individually but the freight charges are higher .

You need to contact VIsion Imports for prices for both the headers and shipping charges if you want them individually shipped.

Please also ensure that you advise if your vehicle is a Cali or Fed spec model and whether you want a HFC unit or not.

Everyone who ordered these, you will need to follow up with Vision to specify a cali or fed spec since the designs of the flex pipes on either model are different from eachother.

Just spoke with Vision, we aer going to try and do an interim package to the USA to cover as many header systems as we can make in teh next two weeks. This will cover some V6 units but maybe not all. We will try our best to get some before christmas to everyone.

You're the man Dave. I think those of us who paid early on and had the headers but had to send them back due to shipment issues should get them first. In other words, who paid first should get theirs first.

Mine was 625 total but I also purchased the HFC. Stand alone I think it's about 490 (I'm not at the site don't complain hehe) with 25 bucks shipping.

Yes the idea is to try and get some systems off to those who have already pre ordered.

To confirm information pleae contact Vision Imports specying your exact model vehicle again please Ie Cali or Fed Spec and if you want the optional HFC unit.

We just want to ensure that we send out the correct number of systems to everyone.

Yes we will be following up with another shipment 1st or 2nd week of January. After that there will be regular shipments every month of extractors although not necessarily at a group purchase discounteed price.

This is a little off the subject...but waht do you prefer with the headers dave...the Apexi SAFC or the HKS HFC????

We have no preference whichever system would do the same job. Whatever system suits you although I know that Vision Imports are able to offer them at good prices.
