Are H3 bulbs OK for headlight projectors?

I found a pair of 94-96 honda prelude projector headlights for $125 a pair. They look like they take H3 bulbs. I was wondering if it's ok to use to make projector heads for the G. Thanks in advance.

H3 bulbs are meant for foglights. I can't see using them for headlights.

I don't have any first hand experience with projectors though, so I don't know.
