    27mpg in town.

    30-31mpg on the freeway.

    Pure stock G FTW!

I have never got below 300 miles on a tank. I have always been well above.

    I am using a V6 btw

Its the width of the tire that matters...more friction and traction on the road. My stock rims were 15"x6" and I went to 18"x8.5" and went from about 26 mpg to 21 mpg. After I put on my CAI I gained on average 1 to 2 mpg.

around town, usually between 150-200, most I have ever squeezed out of a tank was around 300 miles, just over iirc, normal long run, around 220-250, so for all of you who want a VR4 take note of this lol

i think the 4 cylinder gets worse gas mileage then han the v6 just because it has to work so hard to move the car around. i recently started getting 300 miles to the tank city and highway but before with the 19's i could never top 250 unless all highway

My brother has a 4cylinder YJ and his gas mileage sucks...its like 15 mpg because the engine can't push his tires.

I get about 280 to 300 to the 1/4 tank mark and i have a 2.4. but, its hard to be acuraye since i can get like 150 mile before it hits the 3/4 mark, and then it just seems to drop.
Currently on my 3rd 8G... Not giving up this time!

    I get about 23-24mpg city/highway. City only and it drops to 15-16mpg. I4 2.4

Still not bad, I drove Prius recently (50mpg?) and you can only drive that car WOT. So you can never get good mileage flooring it all the time.
If you put something heavy in the car = "forget about it"

honestly i don't think it's the lack of power that kills the 4g64's mileage it's the gearing when i'm doing 65-70 mph i'm pulling 3000-3500 rpm

Actually Galant has one of the biggest 4 cyl engines around or so I've read. Someone makes 2.5 but thats I think is as big as they get (some technical limit)
