update on my G

Not too much has really been done, but I figured I'd share anyways...

Painted my truck garnish black and added a black mitsu emblem to the trunk. Got a black gas lid, and added a camber kit to the rear suspension, so no more wearing out tires. And got a set of ventshades. Like I said, it's a bunch of little things, but all in all, I think she's looking better. Pics would be better, but my digital camera crapped out, so these were taken with phone. They're not bad, but they could be alot better.

I knew someone was going to bring that up. And I have a good reason for it. The original gas cap was peeling and it didn't match the car. The car is white and the cap was off-white. So when I found a black G in the junkyard, I took advantage of getting the gas cap. I figured if I didn't like it, I could take it off. I know some of you prolly won't like it, but compared to what i had...I like it alot better...

That was a silver one, but I painted it. Now I'm trying to figure out what do to with the red one on the front...

you could black it out. but then you won't really see it.

That's what I was thinking, but the way that emblem is made, I wouldn't like the way it would look. I want to do something like I did one the back with a one piece chrome emblem instead of a two piece like the red ones.

Do they make one-piece emblems that fit in the front grill? My grill isn't flat where the emblem sits. I has a recessed area where the emblem goes. I've looked on eBay for emblems, but I'm never sure exactly which one to buy, so I've never messed with it. And if I get one that's too big, I'm afraid it won't look right...

I like everything.

My suggestion is paint the gas cap an licence place light holder or whatever we call it matching white. It will bring out the tail lights and emblem better.
