    Navigation

Hey everyone, i am sure that this topic has been discussed some number of times and i apologize if this seems reoccurring but i would like to know who has a Navigation system in their car. I am very interested in getting an in-dash navigation headunit. i know that the in-dash systems are double DIN and we have room on the 8g for a single DIN. more or less, i was just wondering a few things.

    1. Who has them installed?
    2. What Unit do you have?
    3. Where did you get it installed?
    4. Who did the custom moulding?
    5. Can you please post pictures?

again i am sure that this topic has been discussed and everything, but i just wanted to put it out there in case there hasnt been much depth to it. sorry for all the questions also, but i want to make sure that i research this topic in-depth before i make a final decision.

Thank you in advance for all your replies.

Not all navigations are double din, they also have flip outs which support navigation such as alpine, pioneer. i have the alpine D900 with the alpine navigation, and i love it very usefull..

Well they have worked on 3 of my cars b4 and I'm cool w/ the department manager and store manager, so they did more for the custom molding. Sanded, primer, paint, and clearcoat. I'm going to have it wrapped in ultra black suede now.

sent a pm, yea its black, depends, if you get one that has a trim cage you can use that and set it into the bezel, you can install the stock brackets on top and leave it as is, or you can also make custom brackets for the bottom as well to make it extremely sturdy, i would suggest this but the trim cage should work fine, if your at a los you can have a place install the radio and they will know what to do lol, but its just like installing any other radio into a car using the same methods, this just makes it to the correct size and makes it look factory

it comes with the stereo, i was just telling you how to install it but you do it the same with any radio, the only ones that do not come withtrim cages are the eclipse brand, because they are made for custom type installs

yea just pm me if you need anything else and when the money is ready
