It's doubtful that it would work with an aftermarket radio. You'd have to get one designed to work with your aftermarket radio specifically. Not to mention the ipod interface for most after market radios is 30 to 120 less than the one in the auction.

Yes thats waaaay over priced. I bought my ipod adapter for my Panansonic HU for $39, and it works great.
