cruse control speeds up through curves

So the other night i was going down the freeway and noticed when im going through a curve my car seemed to speed up about 3 to 5 mph while the cruse control was set. Its not a problem for me and i dont think its a problem with the car. But I do wonder has anyone else noticed this whit there cars?

Mine slows down when going down hill and then speeds back to normal. It looks like the ECU is trying to adjust the speed to compensate for the turn.

sounds like the ecu is overcompensating for the increased resistance as you drive through a turn
