    My Backup camera

So finally got around to installing my backup camera today. So here's some pics.

What I did was removed the third brake light, and made a cardboard template. once I was happy with that, I transferred the template to abs. Drilled a bunch of holes for the leds so I'd still have a third brake light. Wired those up mounted it all and there it is as you see it.

Looks sweet, you should hide the wires for your XM antennas.

    location, location, location..

Good, clean job but why over there? Its kinda pointless since you have that view when you turn your head around.

    Nice work Josh. Question...

Would the red lighting from the 3rd brake light interfere with your cam's sight? Like you dont see a huge red glare on your monitor?

Yeah it is pointless, but the camera was free and I use it more to help me judge tailgaters and traffic slowing down behind me.

Not at all. remember leds are very directional. The light from those goes pretty much straight out. Plus they're not extremely bright to begin with. Just enough to keep me out of trouble.

Yeah I know, the antennas were already run, and I didn't have time to pull them out drill holes and rerun them. btw the one on the left is gps on the right is xm.

Looks good day and night, but my cam sucks at taking pics of the screen. They always come out weird.
