    considering new sub

    ive been thinking about a new sub, i already have an amp and its pretty powerfull here are the specs

    Infinity Reference 611a
    Subwoofer Mono Amp
    456W Reference Series Class D • 657W at 2 Ohms • Optional Remote Level Control

    i have this left over from a previous sytem and it is a great amp and really powerfull i want 1 solid 10 or 12 that hits pretty hard if you have any good sites you have used or suggestions feel free to post....not looking to spend a real lot

    go to www.lightav.com they have really good subs for supper cheap the retail on my cadence tx is $500 each and i got mine for $177 W/ shipping and handeling...thats the price for one..

    http://www.cardomain.com/item/POWPW212M seems new and i have heard good things about the company but i was never a fan of paper cone so i saw this and it matched the specs i was looking for and a really good price, when i get it and install ill write a little review

    i got some 12" Alpine type R's and i got them at a deal, $110 each usually $220 each. its a great sound inside the car. it projects a good amount outside also, but im one for a good sound inside more than outside. well most of the time at least haha

    yea i was looking for something cheaper dont want to spend too much money in that area again, and risk the chance of thieves again

    haha yeah i can understand. i need to tint my front windows soon when i get my Nav unit in. thanks again Fatal! i'd hate to say this but i will, try ebay?

    Check out the JBL lineup. Very reasonably priced and built very solid. I like mine.

    If you're not considering spending a lot, you may want to consider these self-contained/powered Infinity subwoofers:

    I'm not an audio expert, but these things gets the job done, and Infinity is all about quality. I think Danger DANJ has one of these before and some other members. One real advantage is that it doesn't take up too much space in the trunk. And in my case, I need space in my trunk to put in my RC airplanes. :)

    Their prices should be a lot lower these days.

    Like metallicslvr said JL w7 is the best sub out there. But for price and quality I would go for some Alpine Type R's I have two 12's and they produce crazy amounts of bass. I'm using a mono amp too.

    my dad is also pushing 2 type r 12's with a fosgate bd1000, what amp are you using.. and its MATTalicslvr (my name is matt)

    If you can find them get infiniti Perfect 10", I 'm rocking two of those with a two channel MTX 530 watts in a sealed q-logic box. It hits

    yea i got one already....lol still waiting for it to come, im not new to the audio game so i know what is good out there i was just looking for something that met my specs in a reasonable price, like i said normally i wouldnt have a problem spending the money on a w7 or some new l7's etc but dont want to tempt the thieves out there
