    Ground Loop Isolator

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good ground loop isolator?

THey just act as a bandaid. Find the real cause of the noise and fix that.

Well my ground is fine but whenever I turn on my inverter and then plug my laptop into my head unit I get noise. I have all my audio and power cables run separate so I know that's not the problem.

Only thing I can think of is when I run my ground to the battery that might fix it but until then...

if that's the case, then you are better off just getting a gli. Computers and inverters in cars are very prone to cuasing noise and can be very difficult to remove completely. As far as a good one goes, I couldn't really say since I don't normally use em.

installation Is a cause of noise. Make sure you have good installated wires. Most of the time that can fix the problems.
