so what type of kit did u get? also did they cut the extra lip off the skirts? where do u mean theres a 2 inch gap?

  6. #26
Extra lip? Its hard for me to explain but I'm going back tomorrow and I will remember to bring my camera.

that lip that has the arrows. if that is not removed then it will cause the doors to rub and the skirt to sit lower causing it to look ugly, its the lip in the inner doors lol

ill check it out when i go back. i know he did trim some stuff off the top. cuz he showed me. the skirts also had a lil bow to them....there were not even completely straight.

    Update w/ PICS 3/9/07

Ok I just got back from the body shop once again but I got a few pics.

Here you can see that they had to cut the skirt to even fit

Here is the gap I was talking about b/w the bottom of the side skirt and the car

Not to the rear, they were able to bang the back of the frame in a bit and shave the notches on the back of the bumper to get it to sit more flush. But one side sticks out

  11. #31
    which rear bumper is that?

  12. #32
Cyber 1 rear? Same one that Censee has and a few others.

  13. #33
yea the fitment on that was shot hopefully they get the supers on.

  14. #34
Good news, they got the rear on flush....and its not sticking out now. They heated the side up and was able to mount it on flush making custom brackets. Pretty cool.

I got a set of super vr4 sitting at the body shop. I really don't want to use them since they don't actually flow w/ the rest of the kit. If only I could find a set locally since I need them like ASAP. But we will see.

how come you had a problem putting the rear on? i have the same rear as you...doesn't it just wrap around the rear quarter panel?
