Front mount cold air intake??

Ok well i was searching ebay for the gsr kit to make a cold air intake. While i was looking around i found this.It made me laugh first time i have ever seen this! lol Here is the kit.

you guys are crazy that thing is good for at least 40 hp, throw on an electric supercharger and your all set.......

just throw on a filter and call it a day or go to a muffler shop etc and have some pipe bent to fit

i have seen those.....i saw them like 3-4 years ago....i mean they have the idea the only draw back is the pipe is so long......i think it would be wiser to just get a scoop right on top of the locatin of the maf the run the tubing to the scoop.....

short tubing but still get real cold air.....

why not just do something like this... no other pipes and for sure cold air.. works like hell. +40hp

I really hope you guys are joking, because if u checked the definition of "RICE", you would find this pic.:smt011 :smt012

First, the kit looks ugly, and the gains you would get from this setup are not worth the work you would put out installing this thing. Secondly, basic common sense tells you that more piping=more restriction, so it would be pointless. Get the regular cai kit its a much better investment and will give u better results.

dude.... they are all joking. this subject was talked about a while back. just get a short ram man. it does the job.

lol.....one of the honda guys have this on his car.....well i work with him.....first thing i said was
"where is the turbo for the intercooler?"......then i said..
"oh never mind i'v heard of this set up......it's called the ricer's interfoler kit"

then he asked me to race him to show that it works.......well he drives civic and you guys know how that goes :D......

i've seen so many of those here!!!! that's why i figured. damn with the high comp a honda's got, how the hell can they have such a huge inter(cooler) meaning HUGE turbo!!! fooled me..
