    fuel injector question

This might seem like a lame question. Can fuel injectors wear out or do they just break and stop working? Second what is the life expectancy of them, if they even have one? Im just wondering because i do not know the awnser to it.

Please dont responed if you just have a joke to make.

they would clog up from bad or dirty elements from the fuel or gas tank.. but most of the fuel today are pretty much clean and often times have a mixture of injector cleaners.. i guess the only logical and possible way for it to break is when you physically damage it..

injectors should last longer than your car would.
in normal operations that is. Iam not sure if they still use spring in injectors?

Yes they can fail, though it is rather rare of an occurance.

What kind of issue are you having?
