    wiring

with my new head unit, when ever i accelerate the speakers make a whining sound really high pitch, it was like that with my old HU also, it came with the car. i heard it could of been because the power cables were ran to close to the RCA's but there on opposite sides of the car.....

    Any sugestions?

Have you tried a new set of RCA wires, perferablly with thick installation on them.

Its a ground loop either find a new ground or check all your grounds with a multi meter.

Sounds like the RCAs arent insulated enough and you are getting some interferance from the chasis. Try running your RCAs down the middle of the car instead. take a ride around the block to see if it works

If it works, then go ahead and hide em (under the center console, under the rear seat, and into the trunk).

Need some paint or bodywork done in Chicagoland or NW Indiana???.. http://www.alsautobodyexperts.com/
