The diagram should be the same, I would keep my eye out though because some of the wire colors might not match up, but they should all run through the same pins. I ran into this problem when trying to install my maft and still haven't had a chance to pick up the diagram from the dealer(to busy at work). If you still need it after i get the chance to pick it up i should be able to send you a copy, just let me know.

I have the diagrams for the 98 Galant. The wire colors between the 96 and 98 are different but the actual wire positions should be the same.

ooh ok thanks for the diagrams seth, but the thing is i need to know the color of the tach wire that goes to the distributor, cause still i can put the tach to work on the microtech.
The microtecht has one tach wire that needs to be hooked up the tach signal wire.I unplugged the stock ecu of my car, and i don't use the distributer anymore. No i don't know if i need to plug the stock ecu also to make the tach signal wire avialable.

I was thinking, can i put a wire direct from the tach to teh cam angle sensor?

From the CAM angle sensor, run that wire to the Microtech then from the micro tech run the wire to the ECU and then just splice a wire off it and run it to the back of the gauge cluster.

If your not running an ECU just go straight from the Cam angle, splice one wire to the Microtech then one to the back of the gauge cluster. Have you tried using a tach inverter?

Idk, I have never gotten my tach to work with a 6gVR4 CAS. I havent tried an inverter yet though.

Cause from the microtech you get the wires, to ignition, coils, camangle sensor, oxigen sensor, cooling sensors, and a wire that must be conected to a tach.
Now on wich wire of the camangle sensor i've to put the wire, from the tachometer to the camangle sensor?
