    My 1996 Mitsubishi Galant VRG

Holla to everyone from New Zealand
This is about the most progressive Galant fan Website I have ever came across. Never seen so many beautiful machines coming togther making this website.

Anyways here are some pix of my Galant that I proudly own, hope you like it..

    [/b]

The only things that have changed since the time pix were taken(1 month ago) i have sold the lambo door kit, as my mates did not know how to use them and banged the shit out of em all the time trying to open them normal way, also i had a little crash that forced me to change the nosecut of my car, and soon i will buy a front bodykit to make it look sexy again. 8) 8) 8)

its a 1.8 liter tiptronic, so far no engine mods, but i got the car pretty cheap considering it had done only 99000kms, now its 108000kms and i still love it.
Now i have seen a lot of posts where people have converted their automatic galants to manua, would it be the same for tiptronic galant, and is it possible at all???

1.8 I4, Gasoline direct inject, same spec as alot of the other 8g's interior wise, Smooth ride from factory, nice family car really.
Pretty poor power wise unless you live in Japan and use their 103 octane fuel... they cause alot of problems here in NZ as our fuel is dirtier than most of the world. Most mitsubishi mechanics would tell you to stay well away from it, it's really one of thoes engines that never should have been let outside of Japan. Usually needs to have the injectors and transmission flushed about once every 1-2 years.
You can however turn the GDI eco mode off if you wish, which actually opens it up alot.

I thought lots of people on here got those kind of taillights??? i know i do lol
as for GDI have no idea how to turn it off.

And those mags are 17x7, but the tyers are a bit smaller, would not know why, one thing i know for sure is that its the only set looks like that here in NZ, as was brought from USA 8)
