Last I heard final product, rumor has it the sti is going to be taking a break for a while from production. Subaru taking the mitsubishi route holding out on release of there top dog, I hate scoobies haha.

actually, its been around for 25 years.

and the new engine is much better. technology moves on, usually for the better.

also, the new EVO will of course stay at 2.0 liters, but there HAVE been grumblings in WRC that the spec may go up in the near future. If thats the case, the 4b11 engine is quite ready to go with a 2.4 liter version hanging around, waiting to be used in something.
