    It's started...

I go out to my car this morning to go to work and notice my clear coat is peeling...

This sucks...Any ideas on how to stop it from spreading before I can get it painted?

put some lotion on it, lol

can you respray clear without taking off the whole coat?

rub it back with some fine wet & dry sand paper,
then respray it with a can of clear coat,

then rub the new clear coat back with very fine wet + dry
    then buff + polish,

it can be done quite easily and come out very well if you just take you time.

what grit sand paper? I have some 400 around here somewhere that I used for painting my interior. Is that good enough?

    yeh start with 800,
work your way up to 1200,

then clear coat, then rub 1200, upto 1500,

add polish then light hand buff
