    Need help with gauges!

ok....i started to install my at s7 gauges today, got them on but ran into a problem, did some searching through forums for help but didn't find anything. The gauges are not lighting up at all only the needles are, what can the problem be? is it the black and red wires that need to be connected to the dimmer switch, or is it the female to male connections from the gauges to the ballast? please any help would be great

polish, if you are using tap-in squeeze connectors on the dimmer switch, make sure that they are getting through to the wire and cutting the plastic. that was my problem the black and red wires from the ballast were not coming into contact with the green and black wires on the dimmer switch. hope this solves your problem too..let me knwo
