Someone here at work has a, supposedly new, small 16g. I think he is willing to let it go for 300. Should I, or should I get one I know is new from a company that wont bs me. I dont know this cat real well and I am skeptical about his knowledge on certain things. LOL But it is well known here that he has 2 1g eclipses so...it might be on the up and up. I am gonna see if he will bring it in so I can see it first. What should I look for if I can get him to bring it in....shaft play I know, what else? how can I tell its a genuine mitsu turbo and not some knockoff in a mitsu housing?

you can get a brand new mitsubishi heavy industries big 16g from forced performance for 425.
brand new as in never ever seen any use.
not to mention that the FP turbo's are cast in a dry bearing housing so there is no need to run provisions for water lines.

Well supposedly the turbo is new...but again I am a little skeptical. Definately would not buy it sight unseen...thats for sure
