    Water....

I dont know if its just here but our water has lots of stuff in it like minerals and things and i was just wondering if any of you guys use water filters? I had a problem on a van i use to wash with mineral build up but when i mean our water is bad they recommend that you dont drink our water unless you either boil it or filter it...

always use water filter.... that's just being safe... you don't know what could be in the water you're drinking.. might even have bits of mercury... even honda!!!!

I would reccomend buying and using the Mr Clean wash gun. It has a filter in which it it filters the water, and you dont even have to use a towel to dry the car. The only problem is that you have to make sure the filter is always clean, otherwise wehen you rinse you get some bad water spots.

I use the Mr. Clean autodry. works pretty well. And yes, filtered water is a must.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

Does it leave a film behind? Does it strip the polish or the wax?
Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash doesn't leave behind a film, just a thin layer of the Dry Rinse Polymer molecules that are replenished each time the car gets washed. These do not strip the wax, or harm the paint or clearcoat in any way.

At the dealership I work at we have a big water filtration tank that we use, makes washing the cars much faster when they need to be ready for a delivery.

I never tried the Mr. Clean, but maybe I will go buy some after I get my job... being unemployed and wanted to take care of your car sucks. no $$ sucks
