    Lowering only the front?

hey, i was wondering if someone can help me with this question. i want to lower my car but the rear doesn't need lowering because i have speakers in the back which already lowers my car about 1.8-2.0 inches. i was thinking of getting the progress tech springs and only installing the front springs. will it make the ride quality bad? or does anybody have any other suggestions? what do you think?

There are several people here with that set up. TOC8G comes to mind. http://theonechameleon.tripod.com/2000Galant.htm

Will it make ride quality bad? That would depend on how many miles you have on your stock struts or what type of quality they are currently in. Other than that, it'll be a little more bouncy than stock but you should not have any problems.

I also just dropped the front.. same reason that you stated..(stereo setup drops the back enough)

    Rides just fine for me..

i done both, lowering the front and both. ride quality sucks in both ways. i suggest lowering both because lowering just the front is gay looking. trust me. listen to me or else you will regret.

    Hey Chrome,
your ride looks nice with just the front lowered. Makes sense if you have speakers weighing down the back end... did you have to adjust the rear camber with that weight in it?

I looked at MrJaYdEeOnE's before I did it.. I think it looks more agressive...no cabmber kit needed..
