Go to Autozone, Pepboys, or even Wal-mart. Just buy the replacement battery terminals. You will spend about $3.00 for a new positive and negative terminal. The nice ones will be paint coated for corrosion resistance.

I can post pics of the terminals I installed on my 7g later on if you want.

You can also spray "disc brake quiet" on the terminals to prevent corrosion.

He can also use the silicone that they have to help pervent corrosion too.

Hate to bring back an old thread, but how do you go about changing the positive termianal? I have the Infinity sound in my 8g and the are about 3 wires and a fuse on my positive terminal, how do you go about installing a new one?

You could order a replacement terminal from mitsu. It's a 2 piece terminal. One piece is the ring that goes around the terminal. The other piece is the fusible link. The power lines can be unscrewed from the fusible link
