How much for a set of those? Can u make a tutorial?
I've seen some threads where people wanted to know what LED bulbs would look like behind their gauge cluster, and I recently got Super White LEDs and put them in. They give off a purple spread of light. Here is a picture of what they look like, and sorry its so blurry. Can't figure out how to correct this image stabilizer on the camera.

I paid $60 total for bulbs but I bought an extra one. You can buy them at www.autolumination.com. I know their website looks very bad, but they are extremely professional and knowledgeable when it comes to LEDs. They helped me pick out the bulbs and they are perfect.
These LEDs are literally plug and play, no need to solder crap into your gauges. You would need 5 194 Bulbs which can be found here: http://autolumination.com/194.htm.
I can make a very easy to follow tutorial but I think there might already be one on the site.
How many LED's is on each bulb, I bought one with 5 LED's in each bulb and they didn't fit!
rez: Here is a picture I just took of the LED straight on. Not sure how many are in this one bulb, maybe 5?
You might have got the same one I have here, and you have to kind of wiggle it into the holes on the back of the gauges. I didn't think it was going to fit either but once I pushed it a little bit it went in perfectly.
those are the same ones i have, but i get mine from a guy in hongkong. paid 38 bucks for about 8.

Yah I'd rather deal with someone in the United States. Not a big fan of international companies anymore. But whatever saves some money, go for it. I went ahead and made a tutorial on how to do this here: https://www.thegalantcenter.org/view...=611464#611464
so you can get any color....wonder what red would look like..
pinoyesv6 already made a tut for this, didnt he?
If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.
Not sure but I went ahead and made another one lol. And yeah, you can put any color in there. Red might be a bit much. I would stick with blue, green, or superwhite probably. I think the red lighting with the already red parts on your gauges might throw it off a little bit.
they damn near look like glow gauges... they look good
$60 is to much for those bulbs
i got mine for $8 10 bulbs and they really nice :D
TURBO= in the making.......
I agree, but I'd rather have quality bulbs from a company who backs their products with guarantees then get some poor quality bulbs. But yah, this is just a recommended site, not a requirement ;)
I once went cheap on LEDs... They only lasted a month!
+1 on that. for 60 bucks i could have bought like over 70 bulbs. my bulbs have lasted over 2 years no problems what so ever.Originally Posted by zobgel

LMAO. We understand that you can buy cheaper LEDs like anything else guys. Thanks for the comments lol. I didn't say you HAVE to buy $60 worth of LEDs, just offering some help.
thanks for contributing tho. dash looks brighter
Alright I love the way that looks. But doesnt the 01 models have a blue film on the gauges? i tried LEDs too, but the invtered ones, the color i got was super white, the color ended up being and dark blue purple color. is there anyway to work around that anyone?
i bought some pilots inverted leds from pep boys, they are dim, so dont buy those if youre planning on doing this. I ended up getting the 5led 194 bulbs. i got 10 for 30 bucks so if a few of them blow i get extra. im crossing my fingers they will look like yours when they come in.
