the mani is out. I'm posting pictures. I tried to take pictures of every possible angle i could think of for the 03 outlander mani so other guys can know exactly what it looks like. i'd left the gasket seal at my sister's house so when she gets here, i'm putting the new one in.

just use the galant throttle cable...
what you need to do is look at the gas peddle and find the 2 bolts that secure it to the car... unbolt those and put some washers between the body of the car and the peddle... problem solved
thats how i have mine setup and the good thing is the peddle feels the same as stock

i used the outlander throttle cable. it's shorter but different where the mounting on the firewall from the galant. Mine bolted to the firewall with two bolts holding it to the firewall. the outlander doesn't have that set up it is made with clips so that it is pluged into a hole and the clips hold it in place from the other side. i had to get a file and enlarge the hole at the top and bottom into a more square shape. not much though. when i got it locked in i put the bolts from the other cable back in on each side of it to add a little extra stay in place security in case it wanted to pop back out. i didn't get any picts but if its not raining tommorrow i'll pop the hood and take a few.
ok, so the TPS came attached to the mani but it didn't bring the black box where the wires come out of. so i have a TPS and no way to connect it to the wiring harness.
suggestions?
Also, what did you guys do with the ground sensor that was on the many? did you cut it off and connected it to something else? i'm talking about this one..
where did you connect it?
in theory, if i can just splice those wires together and connect them to the mani somewhere, i can use the connector peice on the TPS. But i don't think i can just splice those together. can i?

your going to have to order a new TPS mine came broke too :?
you can drive your galant without the TPSbut dont expect a good response. also i wouldn't suggest accost town.
yeah, i'm gonna have to pick one up. i'm gonna use electric connectors to connect to the pins to see how that works. i got the order of the wires from Underated's tutorial. i'm not going far without the real tps.Originally Posted by krispy03

that ground sensor i just bolted to the valve cover... im not sure if it works the same but you may be right about cutting it and maybe put a ring terminal on the wires then connect it to the firewall be cause the manifold already has a ground point.
anybody know what happened to manybrews? the mitsu tech
