    5Zigen Fireball Vs Brospeed Prosport

Any one of you have had both of these mufflers or have heard them? I currently have a Brospeed Prosport and I think the sound is great and low but I am wondering if the Fireball will sound louder and lower than mine. I am in search of something a bit louder and lower. After my header upgrade, it seems my muffler starts to resonate pretty bad when I let off the gas around 1-2k rpm. Before the header upgrade, no such thing happens. So I am wondering if the Fireball will resonate just as bad....

Did u do ur whole cat-back, or did u just weld the muffler on? because if u didnt that could be the reason for the low resonation.. But if u wanna change exhaust, hell i say do it.. I've had my 5Zigen for a while, and there is really nothing better than it, i've had 3 others befor and this i think is the best one..

I've heard nothing but good about 5Zigen...it would appear you get what you paid for. Me personally I stick with Magnaflow because it's quiet and still flows very well.

Shane, oh is that why my muffler pops??? Because I only have the muffler welded on and no cat back yet. I wonder who does cat-backs for the I4.......

Hope the Fireball sounds louder than my Prosport.....

that is ur reason, i know a lot of guyz whos car does that, the car will downshift and it will pop like its loosing pressure..

Note that I didn't have that problem when I had stock headers........I guess that had something to do with it.....

THe extra gas flow from the headers is causing the popping from the exhaust, once u upgrade to the large pipping the problem will stop..

I always use Race Don't like the selection of tips but hey at least they come with the tip already on...I hate adding on a tip on an universal muffler.

Hey Shane, so are you suggesting I should upgrade my pipping to 2.5" instead of 2.25"?? My header now is 2.5" but the rest of my piping is 2.25". Won't I lose too much back pressure if I upgrade?

    Thanks.....
