    painting dash trim

    i went to the place that painted my car (MACCO) to get them to paint my interior trim to match my car (Electron Blue) and they told my that they could paint it but they couldnt garuntee adhesive?.....ive painted interior before in my old sentra and it stayed on fine should i have a problem with this?

    regular car paint should work fine...as long as everything is prepped ok...

    just clean it real good, then u could optionally sand it with really fine sandpaper, then paint it(many layers), and once it is dry give it a few coats of clear coat and your done.

    yea thats how i did my last car but i dont know if they will do it the same way....i sanded it a little with a 1000 grit but on the ash tray i still had sum sticky shit from the wood grain so i dunno if theyre gonna actually do the job right thats all im scared of
