    Reelax crashes a Euro meet...

Just wanted to stop by and share this, along with some pics of my finished car. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Reelax's cousin. Usually with him at a lot of the So-Cal TGC meets. BTW, as I'm sure many of you know, reelax is my wiring guru for the foglights!

Thanks for the compliments. Took a long time to finally get done. Kit had to be special ordered from Germany and like reelax's front bumper, mine is exclusive. Nobody else in North America has it, so it was worth every penny I saved up.

As for wanting a Benz, keep in mind that the w203 chassis (2001-2007) is done and the w204 will be coming out (which doesn't look that good IMO). So, that being said, pre-owned certified w203's (all engines), should be fairly inexpensive as soon as the w204's start selling (sometime in August, supposedly).

Honesly, I wish I still had my MX-6 as a weekend car, but had to sacrifice to get my new ride.

euro cars are a pain in the ass... bulb out warnings and such... we got it to work off stock swtiches and no bub out warnings (he has control over individual fog pairs). it took all damn day!

here's a better pic of his wheels for those that are interested:

19x8.5 front, 19x10 rear; color matched OZ superlegerra III's (multi-piece)

o yeah and this is another one of my YOUNGER cousins! alot of you in socal have met him. he's a MOD at mbworld.org.

Thanks. I was trying to find them quickly this morning, but got too lazy clicking...LOL.

Hey, did you get my text about the bulbs? I think I may do that when I try to aim the fogs this weekend. I think I found out how I can get to them without having to go through the fender walls.

yeah, modding a mercedes seems preety pricey, but the end result looks very clean; when done in good taste. I love the wheels, and the stance looks aggressive as fuc. Very nice work on the fogs too. :smt023

Very clean. I like how the exhaust fits the exhaust cutout. Do you plan on going dual exhausts so that it looks more even in the rear?

Hey man, looks good. Make em HID and your set. Are those the same wheels i saw before?
Accident. Deemed Unfixable. Got a check for it.

Initially, I was. That exhaust tip is from a different tuner than the body kit (but matched perfect). Only problem is, the muffler shows too much for it to look nice. I may eventually cover up the side grilles on the rear valance, just to make it look more symetrical. Not sure yet.

Thanks, brotha! Yup, same ones you saw before.

Everybody's buggin' me to make the outsides HID, but if you see them in person, it may be over-kill. Only reason that I may do it is just so I won't have to replace bulbs. The inside ones are staying yellow no matter what. Only problem there is the yellow HID's don't look as good as the halogen (for whatever reason).

Plus, the other issue is I have to get an HID kit that will by-pass the Mercedes computer, so there won't be any additional "bulb out" warnings. I think, based on how reelax wired them, it shouldn't be a problem (if I decide to do it in the future) because the power is being drawn directly from the battery.

That's for sure. When we took pics w/ his Galant, my cousin's EVO and my car, he got the most props on MBWorld.

For the amount of time and $$$ he spent (I know first hand), he deserved all the props (which is rare for many Euro owners that have NO clue about JDM). My roots are with JDM cars cuz of my MX-6, so I have much respect for JDM's that are done up nicely.
