I am pretty sure WD-40 eats rubber, so I would be wary of spraying it on my motor mounts. Or are the mounts even rubber?

    I could be totally wrong...

My car is making this squeaking noise when accelerating and braking, that is why I am bringing the thread back up. Was that motor mount the problem for everyone, or just Korty?

No response. I guess I will jack up the motor and take off the mounts and see what they look like.

Well when I swapped my car and put the R/t's crossmember with front roller mount on, the mount itself ended up being bent so I would squeak every time i braked or accelerated (aka when the engine/tranny moved). So for the time being I have grease on the edge of the bracket its rubbing on to stop the squeaking until i replace my mounts soon.

I have a dodge stratus RT and my mounts are shot. My car makes the same noise as this thread has stated. Im changing them out this weekend with poly mount inserts.
So if your car is making this noise, then i would suggest checking the mounts out. Og and my Stratus only has 88K miles on it and there gone.

Im Having a similar issue I think, not sure bcz the vids are gone now from YouTube. But I replaced all my motor mounts last year with New OEM ones, is it possible that this is still my problem?
Im lowered on Teins w/ AGX's and havent had any issues previously; is it possibly the front endlinks making noise & need to be replaced? (Sound started about a month ago.)
Went to the shop yesterday, and they couldnt pinpoint the problem...
