    Ignition wires clip broke?!?

Hey i was installing my new ignition wires a couple days ago, but when i was removing one of the factory wires i accidentlly broke one of the clips that hold the wires together. But the one clip that i broke was the one that is connected to the actual motor......you know what i am talking about??? So now the wires are kinda up in the air alittle, instead of tied down like they are supposed too, close to the motor. Do you think i would be able to get this part from dealer or something??? Thanks

My new wires came with new ones... they were in a little separate bag in with the wires, so yeah I guess you can get new ones. And yes, they were OEM replacement (way overpriced in my opinion, if I had it to do again I'd have went with the cheaper Magnecores)

You should be able to get them at the dealer but I would just forget about the one on the engine and just get some generic ones at your local autoparts store. Besides, you can probably get bigger ones to accommodate your fatter aftermarket wires and probably color match them, and it will probably be cheaper too, lol.

Uhh, not off the top of my head I don't know it (just been under too many hoods recently, and none of them Galant  ). But I think most of them are pretty similar. You can usually find them at autoparts stores. NAPA is especially adept at having wierd little things like that on hand.

Yeah, mine broke too, I superglued it back and it has held so far, I don't think it really matters though if your have the other clips (the one's not attached to the motor).

Just use some zip ties man. Zip tie the lose wire to one that is secured down.

    my broke too

My motor clip broke too and so far super glue is holding it there, I don't think it really matters though since the other clips hold the wires in place.

The clips dont really matter much, I broke that one too, glued it together but that didnt hold up too long before it snapped again. The spacers are there suposedly to keep the field around the wires seperated so you dont induce a spark on wrong plug. Which really wouldnt do anything anyway.
