What Percent Of Tint Do You Have

When i got pulled over the other day, the cop was asking me what percent tint i had. Luckily mine meet the Utah laws and i was okay

like...5% is really dark vs. 70% which is pretty light..?

Yea, the lower the % the darker it is. Technically, I think the % is the amount of light that gets through the windows

I have the factory tint on my windows now, but plan on going with 5% all-around. Our limit is 32%, but my dad has 5% and already had his latest inspection.

%15 all around.. In florida it's 28% in the front, 15% in the back. I've been pulled twice but never was questioned about it. I just put the driver's window down before the cop approaches the car and crack the passenger one to let some exra light in without being obvious.

5% on all back windows and 20% drivers window
