To be quite honest, i dont see an Eclipse Exhaust system fitting your Galant without any modifications. I mean lets think about it, the Eclipse is a 2door coupe....therefore its shorter than your Galant. I would think that the length and bends of the piping would be different with an Eclipse compared to a Galant. A couple of guys who have the 1999-2003 Galant have taken there exhaust pipes to muffler shops and had it bent to the correct specs. Maybe someone can elaborate more on this. I could be wrong.

a 2g exhaust sysem *will* fit with some mods...since we are a sedan the system will have to be made longer...so at the end needs to have a piece welded to it..ok here is the deal...ur going to need the 2.25" exhasut system piping to match up with the exhasut inlet going 3" piping will defeat the purpose unless ur turbo..you will loose most of ur bottom end power...the down pipe will nto work unless ur turbo or u can find a down pipe for a spyder gs that will bolt up with the headers and exhaust piping i beleive the 2g and 7g have the same bends to the specs...do some research on it..wont hurt

The bends will fit however the system itself is too short by somewhere around 1.5 to 2.5 ft. I don't know exactly how accurate that is since I removed my entire exhaust system when I went turbo. Anything over 2.5" piping is just pointless on an NA 4g64, Either way you will need to do some customizing in order to make it fit. My recommendation would be to look up vrs exhaust and invest into one of their tubing kits. They are mandrel bent and if you take it to an exhaust shop, they should be able to bolt everything together without cutting or modifying anything. You just need to add the extra length of pipe for it to work.
