A filipino's number one dream is to own a car before anything else. In the philippines, most private car owners consider their vehicles as an extension of their home but with one differrence: a home is where his wife cooks while a car is where his girlfriend builds a fire. Hmmm...

or you could take the time and make some out of fiber glass. you would really only need one layer of mat to do it, it isnt structural

i say start off with like electrical tape or even better, color matched vinyl and find out which style you like. and if you're really satisfied, make a set out of fiberglass. its much easier to start over with just electrical tape than it is to start over with fiberglass if you don't like a particular design.

thats what i plan to order...i def like that style...but it says they are attactched with double sided tape? so will it become impossible to get off and will the extreme sun light melt away the *sticky* and fall off..and if they do come off willt he factory lens become sticky? has anyone done this yet?

  11. #11
they dont fall off, they stay on pretty damn well, but that is a ticket waiting ot happen

Those are pretty common on mid 90's stangs and misc trucks in Baltimore. Not sure about how legal they are though. Pretty sure as long as you have enough light output the police wouldn't bother you. I'd rather call the state department and just find out. I swore I saw a pic of someones Galant with those on a while ago.

    Edit.

    Found it. Search pwnz me.

I did the eyelid thing on my old 95 7g and did it on my current 96 7g when I first started customizing the exterior. It will have to be 2 layers...first layer being a non transparent vinyl black. I used the vinyl sticker tape used for all the decal stickers out there on cars and window signs.

    My old 7g

I had the headlights tinted on my 97 g put got pulled over because of the film on them. And anything covering your headlights make it hard to see at night... Covers look great but order this (or other tail light film) You could put it on yourself or have your local tint shop put it on for you. http://www.stickercity.com/store/pro...at=2232&page=1

if you have any questions about putting it on just pm me.
this is how it looked on my car
