    Engine swap Done, now i just have to clean up some things

    finally i've had the time to do something i should have done over a year ago.

    The 2g donor harness

    a few parts that will need to be transplanted.

    Are you still planning on staying with the 14b. If so I've got a friend thats got a couple of extra's if you need them.

    yeah, i'm just gonna start with that turbo for now, then when everything is in, ok, and i have a few other things to monitor and tune the set up, i'll go bigger. but i'd be interested in hearing about these "extra's"

    More or less rebuilt, cleaned up the intake and exhaust ports, painted the exhaust mani with 1200 degree paint (hopefully it'll hold) repainted the valve cover, need to paint the intake mani. various replacement parts, metal head gasket, 4 layer exhaust gasket, HKS cams 264/272, Crower springs and spring seats (ported 2g head, cams, and springs thanks to Sinsere) not pictured Fidanza Cam gears,

    Dam BLue Ice, I knew your were coming back strong but WOW.....

    If you get the chance Iam sure other members would benefit from a write up on how to rewire the 7g harness... Just curious what year galant did you pull the harness from as well as the eclipse?

    95 7g, but i check to make sure there were 4 plugs to the ecu 4=obd2, and not sure about the 2g wire harness, but 95 - 99 will be obd2. AND i also figured how to get the factory crimped wire connector out of the plug, so you can transfer the entier wire from one harness to the next without cutting.

    But today i didn't mess with the harnesses, i chose to wrench in the garage instead. got the cam gears on, timing belt, a/c unit, engine mount, belt cover on the new motor. Then, the tranny, and clutch plate off the old motor. Tomorrow i'll get new belts, and hoses.
