Actually sat down tonight with wiring diagrams for both ecu's and looks like, 80% of the wires are the same( different colors, but go to the samething on both cars.

What needs to be done is add a few wires. which i now think i have all if not most, out of the donor, and just need to run them into the G harness. i started the process today, but spent a many hours today on Forza 2

    This ones for you John

Fender covers! I'd hate for you to scratch up that beautiful paint, man.

Wiring: Something I'll pay others to do. You're a champ, I have no patience for that kind of work. Maybe it's because 7/8 of my last year in VoTech was spent on Electronics. Wiring diagrams...easy on paper!!

Nice progress, keep up the good work.

Have you seen the hole between the front of the trans and the back of the core support, I think even you could stand in there.

Well the wire harness is 95% finished, just need to quintuple check to make sure everything is wired in and up correctly. Soddered all splices, now taping and looming the Harness.

Engine bay opinion, should i loom the harness with Red or Black loom. My original idea was to loom all the additional 2g connectors in Red and the original 7g in black. I'll put a poll up so people can leave an opinion.

yea black all the way. i've seen with many red looms that they turn pink after a while.

although pink isn't a bad thing.

    yes. black loom. no question.

loom is cheap. its inexpensive and ANYOne can do it. why ruin a potentially awesome engine bay with a red mess.

wiring should be stealth. wiring should be out of sight.

when i did my wiring i even moved a lot of factory wires in order to hide them, or make them less obvious.
Who wants to see wiring anyways..... EVERY SINGLE ENGINE BAY OUT THERE HAS WIRES.
Very few have 4g63t's. very few have charge pipes and turbo's.
very few galant bays say DOHC

besides, there is nothing red on your car. why start now.

so today was a garage day, but ended up being a wire harness night.

Here's the little piddley crap i'm dealing with cause i'm trying to make sure this thing has as little problems as i can. For sure the 95-98 wire harness will bolt up to the extensions fine... but...

I have a 94 ES with all the luxuries, and i pulled the 95-98 was a DS, as in now ABS, and it didn't have power windows, but i'm thinking this didn't have any differences.

After pulling mu OBD1 94 LS wire harness, i noticed two differences right away. There are two extra pins in the Engine bay fuse box connector, that aren't in the 95-98, and there is another connector(goes to MFI and something else i haven't found yet) that on the 94 has 8 pins, and the 95-98 has two conectors with 4 pins each. most of which can be transferred into the the 8 pin connector, but two are completely different so, i'll spend Sunday trying to trace their where abouts.

as for all the other connectors, they are the same, so everything should run fine. that's problem #1

    prob #2
since i did the tranny swap, my rear tranny mount has only had two bolts holding it down where it should have 3. one (the one on the side by itself) broke, and is seized in the hole. It won't come out, and i'm sick of trying to deal with this, so i'm about to say "two tears in a bucket...."

those are the biggest headaches so far, i'm sure i'll have many more if this mo fo doesn't start.

But on the other hand, the A/C bracket, and power steering bracket will bolt up fine. The alt, and A/C belts are for 92 2.0 turbo, and the waterpump to power steering was for a 94 Galant as the 90- 92 2.0 turbo had a ribbed belt insterad if the four groove belt. andi used the groove pully form the 2.4l sohc.

ok i've had a few to drink so i'mma STFU now.
