    Supra tranny on galant?

    someone told me that for the evo engines u can put a supra 5 spd tranny on. is this true? could i do it with my 2.0 SOHC from my 92? and then when i upgrade the engine i have the tranny already there? hit me back. oh yeah, is the supra front or rear?

    not gonna work. the supra is rear wheel drive...and their motors are like 90 degrees than urs...

    k. thanks. then what is the strongest 5 spd tranny i can get for my 92? i have front drive.

    im guessing it would be one for an eclipse...but if you can get hold of a galant tranny, you could build it up using a kit like the ones level10 has and then it would be plenty strong

    where could i get the stuff to build it up from?

    the 20 series in the galants and eclipses are basically identical, except for the gear ratios used.
    so basically, installing an eclipse trans would have no advantage other than probably making your speedometer innacurate.
