I had a push starter on my civic. I don't think it's a bad idea at all. Just make sure you get it wired correctly and a good push start device and not one cheaply made. Sucks when you think you got a good deal on something and one day you can't start your car because the button doesn't work, lol.

ehh... i dont think its that amazing... you still have to put the key in, and turn it... y not just go the extra 1/8th inch..... ide like to get something wired up with RFID or something, so i dont need to use key ignition... that way i just get in, and the RFID unlocks the ignition, then ide use a push button to start it...

but i have a sinking feeling that its gonna be expensive...

i know theres a car that does that... but i forget which car... i wonder if i couldnt just rip it out of a junked car (the 1 that had it) and wire something up into my car :P...

All Infinitis have them standard now. They're also adding them to most of the newer Nissan models.

I use it to power my bluetooth lcd rearview mirror. I just installed it last week. Pretty neat.

You can get this to plug the hole: :)

EDIT: You have to attach it to a lighter plug of course and stick it in that hole.

EDIT2: If you want a cheap alternative, go for those things that provide LED lights with metal goose neck or something.

    EDIT3: Like this one:

    EDIT4: Nice.

aaahh, ok, hehe. let me think about that....hmmm, that's a tough one. How about a sticker?

you could cut a hole out of abs plastic and glue it on he underside of the hole... then fill it in with some bondo... and sand it down then just paint both of the dash pieses

or... you can rewire the accesory wire with large wire and have a distributor block...
