I think it'll look good color matched to your car...
okay, so i just ordered an egr visor (courtesy of alexvr) and i'm guessing it's black. but i don't know how well the black will flow with my car. though my car does have black trim i'm not sure if it will be enough. so i am thinking of getting a cf hood. do you think the visor will look out of place without something else black to go with it, or will it look okay?
here's a pic of my stock g.
behind my car is my friend's '93 bmw 525i.
thanks in advance!

I realize that this advice maybe out of place but having your car lowered would help in making everything fit better. As far as I know, (i maybe wrong) but the egr can be painted to match your car. The details on who and how fall on you though.
Good luck

Just put it on as it is black for now and look at it from diffrent angles. If you don't like it as black than take it off and paint it to match the body.

I would either paint your molding silver and handles silver.. then get the silver egr visor.. and get a silver trunk garnish cause I know yours is grey.. unless you plan on doing the whole grey and silver scheme i would then go for some cf on the body like the hood, trunk, and grey rims..
yeah the garnish is grey(black) and i plan on doing the whole grey(black) on silver scheme and i am going to go for some grey(black) rims and i'm trying to decide on a cf hood. :D

Well.... I think you should paint it silver anyway.. b/c the black from an egr visor isn't going to match the black that's on the rest of your car...
i think the black will match the black trim on your car. keep it there with some black wheels, remove the spoiler, and youll have a good look goin

it'll look good black man..
My car is the same color with a black visor. I like the looks of it but Ill probably paint it in the near future. I might decide against it once I get my windows tinted since i have dark(graphite) colored wheels.
i would leave it black becasuse it will blend in with the tint, and if ur going to get a CF hood and trunk then get the roof painted also...i personally thing painting the visor will make it look lik the roof is too long but i dk, as for the black trim paint it silver and get gunmetal rims, NOT BLACK!! theres too many cars already wuth the black n silver look, if not then get some nice silver or hyperblack rims and just have the sides of the car straight silver and then the middle black/CF like the headlights, roof, hood, trunk and grill, almost like a two tone
heres furious's car, this pic is not the egr but the jdm visor, im just giving u an idea...
Painted, no spoiler
heres mrjaydeeone...spoiler not painted
CF trunk with black visor
color match man..

i don't know i kind of like my black trim. i don't think all silver would look good. i think the black trim with my tint, a black visor, and black rims would look good though.
thanks for all the help

NO BLACK RIMS lol no its ur choice but im just saying its played out big time, gunmetal or hyperblack n be different  check ur pm
I think it looks fine as is. But yeah, I've thought about color matching too.
i too have a silver car.... i have a carbon fiber hood. no body kit, crome wheels and i had the jdm visor and left it black. i just recently colormatched it... it looks good, but sometimes i wish i just left it black. id put it on and leave ot for awhyle. look at it often and see what you want. then you will at least know what it looked like before you colormatched it.
