Any particular reason by this week ? he was planning within the month. But is there any defects that will happen other than just having it cosmeticly look like shit ? :P ie. Warpage, or what not...

yea, i agree ! Its not mine ;) i just helped my homie out, And thats the way the r34 is,. But it has massive lights and such. But we just put this on, he dont really wanna add anything, he wants to keep it clean, not sure what hes going to do ;) but im there to help. I would like to go to school or something for this and open a custom shop that does vynls and carbon fiber, and body kits. Paintjobs. Etc. as well as regular maintinace . I think that would be cool ;) and race on the side. At the track of course.

Owning your own shop sounds pretty awesome. You're definitely talented with the vinyl You do good work though.

Speaking of, I'm looking up some stuff about painting the body of the car right now, I might post something up later seeking some advice on it...

Tell him he better paint it right away and not drive around like all the ricers with unpainted body kits!

And tell him he needs rims before a kit!

Doesn't look too bad though, keep us updated.

Wow ;) 2 great minds think alike ! I told him today that he needs at least 18' Gold BBS' Rimms on there. But yes, He has the money, and im having my friend paint it that paints hot rods for a living... So it will be done right...

    But reallly ? I did good work ? :)

yeah you honestly did a good job cleaning up the first day's work. i have also thought that the r34 kit is the best for the max of that style. but man its like having some dope ass rare rims and no drop if you dont paint it first. i didnt see whether this was just a test fit or not but i hope it is. people who ride around with unpainted body kits are obviously much too anxious to have anything really quality otherwise they would wait. ya know

looks good to me for a first try. I hope that your boy saved some money for the paint. Unfortunately for now he is classified as a ricer.

hmm i dont know about it, i like the stock body for that gen max i think the lip kit they make is a lot cleaner but i will have to see after its painted of course...he definatelly needs to do something about all that mesh tho im not feeling all that

  14. #34
looks okay,, for some reason the side squares do look kinda outta place and the grille mesh looks very flimsy, but besides that looks okay,,, good job fitting it in..

i like it man looks good, just need to fill that bumper up with an intercooler and maybe some foglights and some different style mesh, i dont really care for that style.

Its cool to help your buddies out. Its cool that your buddy is putting a kit on his Maxima.. But man.. There is just toooooo much going on with that front end... For some odd reason the headlights make everything stand out and make it even more hideous. But to each his own...
