    car problems

I changed the bulbs in my dome light and then when I hooked it back up, there was a spark, which resulted in a little bit of smoke. I didn't really think much of it but when I turned on my car, the radio asked for a code. Also the light that tells you if a door is open does not go on and my power door locks is not functioning properly unless the engine is on. So now Im driving around with no fucking music or anything. Damn my car is fucked up. I don't know what to do.

Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this problem???

Stock system? - if so, there should be a yellow card in with your owner's manual, and if u look in the manual, there should be instructions on how to enter the code. As for your lights, I'd say start by checking your fuses.

I forgot to mention that the car was purchased at an auction and it has a salvage title.

And it didn't come with an owners manual, so I don't know the code

I checked the fuses and they all look fine....

I have not had to do it, but I think the dealer requires you give them the SN from the back of the radio for them to give you the code for it.... you have to take the radio out....

I would sure think you belw some fuses if you shorted out your system that bad.... all fuses looked OK? I'd ohm out (continuity check) the obvious ones that your having the main problems with... sometimes they can look OK but not be working.

    Good Luck

Okay if u dont know the code, ur going to have to go back to the Mitsu dealer and have them put the code back in, the guy around here wanted a $100 to put mines in.. but i ended up finding my lil code thingy..

call a local mitsu dealer and explain your situation....but I certainly wouldn't pay to have your radio reset...anybody wanna give up their code? I'd give ya mine, but can't find my little yellow thingy...

Did you check the fuse under the hood? I bet you didn't. You'll find your blown fuse in there.
